For those of you who might be seeking some of our merch. ETF has been working with Printful to manage our merchandise thus far, however recently, due to the pandemic and all the shipping problems that it has caused, much of our merch has been limited. Printful has shut down the addition of any new merch, which is putting a large damper on things. We are currently looking into other avenues for merch sales, and hopefully will have things back up and running soon.
Hey Frieeends,
I'm not sure how many of you read them, but I have got to be more vigilant about updating these postings. We have been working on a ton of changes here on ETF, bringing new forms of content to the channel, some of which I can tell tat many of you guys are enjoying. Adjust Your Tracking has been receiving a great response from everyone, which warms my heart, as that is a show that I really enjoy creating. We have also been trying something new with our regular reviews, adding a little more meat to the bones so to speak, in order to make the viewing experience more enjoyable for you all. Over the next couple months there may be a few more reviews trickling out that don't feature these new changes, as we had a few left over from before we began updating things. However soon this new format will be our sole focus and way of doing things from here on out. There are many ideas floating around currently for even more new kinds of shows that I hope to start putting in to effect as soon as possible. So I hope you all stay tuned for the future of ETF. ETF has landed itself some new affiliate sponsorships, form NordVPN, Skillshare, AliExpress, Fiverr, and Adorama.com. As much as I personally don't enjoy tacking these little ads onto weekly videos, I figure it might be a good way to help cushion this situation that we all find ourselves in these days. Hopefully these aren't to much of an annoyance to all of our viewers, we tried to keep them short, sweet, and to the point. As of right now the plan is to keep them limited to weekly content such as short and feature film reviews, so all monthly content like Top 10 Tuesdays, Film Analysis, and Adjust Your Tracking won't be featuring these ads. Would love to hear feedback from you guys if there is any.
Hey Frieeends, we have just opened our new Merch store here on Embracethefilm.com Making it easier for everyone to get their hands on any of our official merchandise. Along with this new store opening we have dropped a bunch of new Shirt designs to choose from.
Hey frieeends,
With all this spare time that we have been given, due to this whole social distancing fiasco, I have been hard at work on some new additions to the channel. Just recently I introduced the first a new show called Adjust Your Tracking, a plat form to discuss issues that exist throughout the cinematic landscape. Today I have released the first Film Analysis, which will be somewhat similar to film reviews, however structured as more of a discussion. These videos aim to be more of an open discussion, that delves a little into the development and deeper meanings behind certain films. All of the films discussed in this fashion, can be assumed to fall as either an A, A+, or A- on my normal rating scale, therefore i won't be bringing your standard review for them. My goal has been to hopefully bring a little more variety to the channel and create these longer form shows that dive a little deeper into certain films that I feel warrant a more in depth discussion. Hopefully you guys enjoy these new videos. As always I would love to hear your thoughts. Hey Frieeends,
Do to the state of things recently, I felt it was the perfect opportunity to begin a new show here on ETF that I have been slowly developing for some time. This new Show will be a monthly release that focuses on the structure of the industry itself and the problems that lie within. While I will try to remain objective and analytical about these issues, this is also a bit of a platform for me to vent some frustrations about various things throughout the cinematic landscape that drive me mad. I plan to cover aspects from within the studio and development areas of industry, all the way down to problems that arise in theaters and within ourselves as viewers. My hope is that this new segment will be a bit of a breath of fresh air for the channel, and help add some variety to the content flow. Our pilot episode for the series will be releasing this Friday at 10am. I am currently still experimenting with it's format a bit, toying with a new looks and other aspects, so it is subject to evolve as time goes on. As with everything else I release, I would love to hear what you guys think about the new show, and hear what opinions you have on the topics discussed. Stay Tuned and Keep Embracing Film. So far it seems that most of our viewers have been enjoying the new Top 10 Tuesday content. Now that we have reached the end of our trial period for the month of January, Top 10 Tuesdays will be switching over to a month by month basis, so you will be able to check out brand new Top 10 Tuesday videos on the first Tuesday of every month for the foreseeable future. We have much more new and exciting types of content that will be rolling out this year, so we want to be able to make enough room for it all throughout the schedule. I hope you all have been enjoying the content thus far, and stay tuned for what is to come.
Hey frieeends, welcome to 2020. As I have said before I have some big plans for the channel this year. I'm kicking things off by diving back in to Short Film Reviews. Unfortunately the later half of 2019 became far to hectic for me to keep up with them, but I truly feel that short films are just as important as your standard movies, because they are where the talent and craft of a filmmaker is born and shaped. Also most people don't bother with short films, and to me that is an honest shame, because short films often have so much to offer in terms of raw and imaginative story telling.
Also this year I am introducing some new and fresh content, starting with Top 10 Tuesdays. i know many of you out there enjoy those quick list format videos, and my hope if to add a little more variety to the channel by splashing these in from time to time. If you guys enjoy them I may try to make them a regular occurrence in the lineup. Soon we will be also introducing Film and Scene Analysis videos from time to time, which will be providing longer form, more in depth looks into films, specific film scenes, and their possible meanings. This is something I have wanted to do for a while, and I feel now is the right time to bring these into the fold to help break up the monotony of standard reviews. And of course I also have some very big plans in the running for the Halloween Season, as well as a little something for Christmas time. So, I hope you all stay tuned for all that is to come. Hey frieeends, ETF has wrapped up for 2019. I hope everyone had a great Christmas season and enjoyed the content that we were able to bring you this year. We have big plans for 2020, and hopefully will be able to bring you some fun new content. New Episodes of ETF will we coming this January. Stay safe, and have a Happy New Year!!!
